It could last between 20-33 years. This is an extremely important topic for everyone on planet Earth. I am new to learning about it so, I will not go into details here today. It is basically several cycles of low sunspot activity that creates cooler temperatures for long periods of time. The Little Ice Age was during one of these GSM called The Maunder Minimum.

It is worth learning about for sure for our future survival. If the need presents itself, I will talk about it more in a later post. In the meantime, try watching some videos on the subject with John L. Casey or get one or more of his books on the subject. All crystals carry a frequency that will transfer to you. Yes, it is a subtle energy but I always say, every little bit helps! I surround myself with all types of crystals every day. You might not notice the energy at first but if you don't carry them or have them near after that, you can very much tell. You will miss them, guaranteed. Their energy fuses with you and transforms you over time. Here is a list of places where I have gotten all of my treasures:
In nature - I invested in a rock tumbler & have been very happy with the results
The Stone Maiden - local crystal store
The Enchanted Elm - local crystal store
Coleman Rock Shop - shop in Hot Springs Arkansas
Earthbound Trading - store in the Mall
Etsy - online

My daughter also found a few very nice specimens at
TJ Maxx Dept. Store

You can get started experiencing their energy with just one stone for very little cost. I started with mainly clear quartz that we dug out of the ground ourselves over a few years time in Mt.Ida Arkansas

I always keep a grid next to me at work all day. It keeps me calm and focused
(from center stone) labradorite, mookaite, sodalite, bloodstone, amazonite, black tourmaline, raw turquoise, amethyst heart, hematite, rainbow fluorite, smokey quartz, rose quartz, tiger's eye, chalcedony, mookaite, turquoise.

My suggestion for getting started. Find yourself a clear quartz cluster or point. Quartz is called the Master Healer. It's a great crystal to use for anything.
But, occasionally I will find one. My sweetie pie Pepper wanted to eat it so I had to protect it for the picture and get it pressed under some books asap. Next, I will laminate it into a bookmark.
Most people will say, "I never find 4 leaf clovers" but just be patient and they will let you find them.
I have found many treasures by just being patient.
Sometimes just "Keep Calm & Chill". Will something bad happen if this one thing is not done to the letter? Probably not so, sometimes, every once in a while, just let something GO. Take note that you are just letting something happen as it may...and most important...remember "A lopsided chocolate cake still tastes like chocolate cake".

The secret to being spiritually happy is very personal. You have to want it, seek it, then you will find it. It takes time and patience but once you start feeling happy inside, you will want to hang onto that forever. It starts in your inner self, that spiritual place inside, your inner chakra. Latch onto it and it will permeate throughout your being. It will reflect outward and everyone around you will feel it too.
Like "Mr. Bill", you may still have bad things happen around you or to you BUT keep smiling and reject any outside negativity coming your way. (I will reject any and all negative thoughts and vibes). Put a white light of pure happiness, sereneness & peacefulness around you.

This may come easy for some, maybe even more have always felt this happiness in them but for others, like me, it is a work in progress. I know this life has not always been easy but as long as I am on this earthly plane, I will keep striving for improvement and to have happiness. I am on my way up and nothing will stop me now.

Now is the time to start tilling & preparing the beds. My main garden is totally and completely covered in long grass and hay. It is going to be hard to get it prepared this year but I am determined to get it done, with the help of my hubbie & his trusty tractor. I am determined to get out there EVERYDAY this growing season & weed & baby that thing as much as I possibly can. I might have to set up a quartz crystal grid in a special spot to help it along. It couldn’t hurt, right?

I’m also going to have a hanging garden on the front porch. One section will be strawberries & lavender and the other will be herbs, lettuce, spinach & micro-greens.

This hanging grid is new for me & I can’t wait to get it operational. I used 2 liter plastic soda bottles and a piece of wire fence.

So, here we go...10 reasons why I LOVE WINTER:
1. It is the last season of the old year and the first season of the new year. So, it is the only season to be in 2 separate years each and every time it comes around.

2. You get to use tons of lotion to keep your skin from getting cracked and dried out.

3. When you leave your house in the morning to go to work before the sun comes up and there was a freeze the night before, your headlights shining on the grass makes it look like diamonds glittering all around.

4. You get to see more things outside due to no leaves on the trees.
5. You get to plan for your spring and summer garden.

6. You don't break out into a sweat as soon as you go outside.
7. No Bugs! Especially fire ants being dormant and you can go outside at night without worrying about spider webs?
8. Many products at stores are on really good sales!
9. You get to drink hot cocoa and snuggle in front of the fireplace.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, to poke & prod, to get every bit of information you want on every subject. Don't go through life just settling for mediocre. Always having unanswered questions, leaves things unsettled. How can you learn without all the information? Knowledge is Power. Just because an ap on your cell phone doesn't tell you something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I have found many words are not in the Merriam-Webster dictionary ap on the droid phone. BUT, they are still words non the less. Look elsewhere, dig. Don't believe one person's story without finding out some facts. Be OFFENSIVE. Knowledge is Power.

I awoke only to fall into another dream where the same granddaughter was in even more distress. After I got up, went to the kitchen for breakfast, my daughter called and said she thought her middle daughter had broken her foot. I asked her when it happened, she said about 30 minutes ago. That was the exact time I woke up from my dream.
This isn't the first time I dreamed something that came true. The first time I remember this happening was way back in about 1988. I have learned how to understand my intuitive "knowledge" over the years. Sometimes information comes to me in a dream, other times, it just comes to me. You have to be "OPEN" not only to receive these messages but to pick up on them. Some people say: "I just had deja vue". I think this is the same thing, only they didn't GET the message the first time, they only picked up on it after the fact. That is why is seems familiar.
“Intuition is the highest form of intelligence, transcending all individual abilities and skills”
― Sylvia Clare
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. We will not solve the problems of the world from the same level of thinking we were at when we created them. More than anything else, this new century demands new thinking: We must change our materially based analyses of the world around us to include broader, more multidimensional perspectives.”
― Albert Einstein

I hover there in the cool night air, surrounded in a soft bubble, gently bobbing up & down. I hover in the protective bubble so I won’t be bothered by mosquitoes or spiders BUT I can still hear the crickets & whippoorwills. I hover there looking up at the stars and watching the flicker of the lightening bugs. Their house is in the woods out in the country. The garden is directly behind the house so, I feel their protection.
It has been 20 years since those times when I could actually be in that garden but I always want to bring that memory back. Even though I have my own garden now, I still go there to visit, for comfort to begin my meditation. Then once my mind is set in that “zone”, I can travel to other places, even into outer space if I choose. Looking back at the earth gives me such a peaceful feeling to know we actually have such a beautiful place to call home.
But, mostly, I never have to travel far, for most of my pleasure comes from being at home with my husband and children around me. I can always watch them in my bubble where I am at the controls. I can turn the volume off or filter out what I don’t want. It’s my own private world, there in my bubble.

This past weekend, I picked my first green beans. They had a fine fuzzy texture on the outside and remained after cooking. I find that a little strange so next year I will choose a differnt variety. Don't get me wrong...we ate the tar out of them and still have left-overs. I just prefer my beans to have a smoother texture on the outside. They look great, are growing fast and have hardly any bugs on them. My meditative process for this will be to tell myself the fuzz is what keeps the bugs away and therefore the reason why I have so many to pick. I am blessed to have food straight from the garden to the table. It has been hard work but very fullfilling.cherokeefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10735034978424921275noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882274955517985068.post-9132180522735059032011-09-28T20:13:00.002-05:002011-09-28T20:22:31.830-05:00TAKE TIME<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS2WZXCZnplfAhBGbYinf29vGNW7s8osKdpGkf3gw7tHgHqfl6-kJJLZPHippLqXWuK35mELTsOFeZYORCQp1TNqcywk1FP4Av6AuOaZodhTn0S139JJVHnw9nN2-YVtlVuydQDCLFRys/s320/horses.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657583993537508946" />Take time to see what is around you whether it is outside in your yard or while you are driving. Now that we are in our new place, we have seen birds we have never seen before. Maybe due to the close proximity of woods & a creek. We have many ponds in the state & quite a few nearby along with a large lake just a few miles away.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijr1s4oLbFt_fyd00M-ukPWYj_0zjVwQbxz-HaMNVrACiQLKXtS31yAvYJaWXCGINze3WA1oSLUgDJNe0imEJqC7T_Pq52zq2Nnsf5hOi5RhAH_ZwCwQsqh999JidYhedysJ7P32mgj3Q/s320/blue+grosbeak.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655644494409758530" />Blue Grosbeak.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggw81MLGpb8fh8yBOceWEWPmY0IdM3OG8H6TzCpFLUoHcK_iRzlBqSx6qMNs83wXvFTsrp6lG7VnytZboUWLr24PBL6Zo03BNJbn0wnckA5ZG7kowY6Bup3qk7JcRQFnIEx3Y9YVHdw_w/s320/goldfinch.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655644647462800402" />Goldfinch.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLuueXwS-T34Xqgh6LZQrgkzKTvsgFl5gIYmEczQYMzbgtJIBRiOSzuBBPav6XmM09ASz-Uq22TtyQ5NwzukrHx6JXOdzFsH3evqJaXGFKDzWUQlfxrwyW_1i2Cp-pRP7Me5n28Exz0PU/s320/indigo+bunting.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655644788723561474" />Indigo Bunting. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBgRNo99r97Ea0cIrLFaXYuJXer5TqAeTCXDjlzTKI47KioI7jB1kxlPRgYK8umtTJV8BlK-khs4Gz8wV9IwsQozCVJNtl3DHS-AjMoBhxcAEz4fV04xwl8g2eAaPoavmsc9XCPdlSf4U/s320/little+buddy.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655645155216764066" />Indigo with his pal Northern Cardinal. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMyoVXjzTWD40-GYRdTlteLA068R6WOKyWG0kjBcQ_lqo9PGlBjZjfymkIhYvOGImyygN-Rs2P-cVAbGx7i-DdI8NEdqZCLFLoqtUQqkxbQSuTGQqOHp63tbgIg26KTPW4khRWtcD2j_Q/s320/painted.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655645351828085298" />Painted Bunting.
I have more that I will load at another time. It should be more like "Mind Over Mind" or better yet, "No Mind Over Mind". When you finally realize how your mind plays games with you, how it controls you and everything you do and every decision you make, it is no wonder we can have any rational thinking at all. It is JUST your mind telling you, trying to trick you, making you have bad or repetitive thoughts. Your mind trying to control and take over all your thought processes. Take time every day to step back say, "I'm not going to listen to it right now", "I don't have time for this today", "Get out of my head and let me be at peace". Let me rest my brain and enjoy life, "IN THIS MOMENT". Hence another old saying "Take time to smell the roses". Time to close my eyes & smile & to hear the wind & to feel the sun on my face. <img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 284px; height: 177px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrsPclc6kqGQd448VfzcElVuJALw9-rqm7GP5tPo_1xhpD98ntFzzaI8duNs7-NOVyrTHMA4C7PtC0RYRWNgypB_YUhopKQi0AdFQbEMx5NLjOQ40wVFgbTSwIFxB9Xn_ZkJss_Hxa-Bg/s320/rose.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5596978327124637394" />cherokeefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10735034978424921275noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882274955517985068.post-82615419263931763222011-02-04T15:07:00.006-06:002011-02-04T15:19:56.655-06:00Central Arkansas 2nd SnowIt is fairly unusual for central Arkansas to get 2 significant snowfalls in the same season. It flurried Wednesday, Thursday and this morning, then starting really snowing about 9am, coming down pretty heavy at times. We've also had quite a bit of sleet mixed with the snow. We might end of getting several inches. I'm just thankful my hubby got home okay. He was stuck in Chicago O'Hare airport for 13 hours last night after all flights to Little Rock were cancelled. He finally got home around 10:00 this morning. Word of advise: companies should never schedule seminars up north in winter, especially when a blizzard is predicted!!! HEL-LO! And a quick note...for anyone who watched American Idol last night...Us Arkansans were even appalled at the "person" representing us. If you saw him, you know what I am talking about, if you didn't see it...thank goodness!!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW9ENIsKi3vJkWmc3Dzo6vSyPQFRygSUHTDfoC4kySSxm7Irh8uX35QExOs3MBBg9Etcske8dzU4gWCjhALMikT0r8FAelfu4E49GkmjQeQFEsH0o10svKQs-dEOpwJ0YxHtwoJkNvB-A/s320/002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5569945159802742050" /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXTX3AguLvNDtBfwzFj8K0LeZDPmPBP5WutES20kzSSrmWpxO4zLMd-d47wjaHJyZx2avgnnE-b9Yh-YaR_NUJ7kxTNavXjgH-igFeyB5F9MDnlSETCDdGXuN-JUcsAkDKC6HuDYZU7C4/s320/011.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5569945427864047826" /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0epOZ7VbvvkB8HICSJEPRwxgv8OEqYglNJOFYZM2YBdlZn8O7VYLq1IAYC1FNQ0q9N_d4Hr51bMbZm27lxN53Y5RD_gMGHAdglcc8LrMHFsH1zxmQXqFg5nQ4b9JA2H0xiIOmXCbHmKE/s320/007.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5569945578993082658" /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGgBJ_9zq9KJ6icr5Iy40_Bz-YG2TIglGBQP4CqE63PVj4rPgwZkuguFylmVC4KWNDG6LOikVas0YFqtpRlHoV-GwUExOOQSm8u459Yl1xM2CiAwxkBKo74loG2K0h4aw94oQB3bPkZZg/s320/013.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5569945803742394706" />cherokeefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10735034978424921275noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882274955517985068.post-91788782872626292302011-01-19T14:19:00.005-06:002011-01-19T14:31:58.300-06:00Bluebirds Love First SnowOur first snow came 1/09/11. We got about 6-7 inches, which is a lot for us here in central Arkansas. Even more unusual was, it stayed around for a week due to continuing temperatures below freezing. The bluebirds were like kids (from the old days)flying around like they were playing chase & hide-an-seek. Odd, because I didn't see any kids out playing!??? I guess they would rather be in their warm & snug houses playing on their PS2's and what-not. I had a blast watching those little bluebirds. They were all, fat & happy. I had never seen so many at one time, they were all out there fluttering around, ruffling their feathers & cheeping. That made my day!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU-Z6sL2X6voTBLBOhOqwvvAQGDWfoIlKiLeEib8XLO_pz8Fky0T6tCGmTqlWlDn_gzdrbEaiN-HYVpDq-vopvBtD7oXUi3hgIA-RihwbbeekxjuX3CvV_dThz0s8An7OMOSSMtLloDHk/s320/013.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563996835854685586" /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWUgM66-dkGhF8SK6ibtYxNsJlQ6xjKbWs-sSuWkGki5u1cgn40bNEC19rIgFR_UY0hj1UKx3OGn2FRNiWHo6QdRUBAEUCaqwK3qOL8XJ5ZEmIGAIv5FKr7S78AvsZiBH-N4AtOXvWv6Y/s320/014.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563996984945854802" />Playing Hide-&-Seek<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimK0JBoMUtWBQ96rOaKpO4Uvnzkcf6fVFdfurjPgvubiX2sv6j0zjPjh8lQT8cuWVyWYtNtZaJtDC1ktYwI6-X16hKCJ19JgURNHgPJR5gUIVmf99quvZlwqXJTFl9gsSrXkCVCfAOwio/s320/017.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563997210341018994" /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaj3DvsXbZNdECUsplZFQmuPC5Xs3Rz8ZWk9Y7gZtfLUxN8A3QHCRCc9WNH0BZK9KclxCIATJWLmbWq8O7LY4uy56SnUE8EErtKkLA9iI9lxSmIQYOx2eEbS5_SJ7LgypJQXpXMBlmHdc/s320/020.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563997399617088066" />cherokeefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10735034978424921275noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882274955517985068.post-85604998486859414872011-01-04T19:02:00.004-06:002011-01-04T19:10:59.082-06:00LUCKY PIZZA?<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix7BOaYHul2hwMlbh4c7SuFRzz8LoEqimWET_uLgIom__No1NL6wfZm5tAyVM7WPbozeMOqOtLpMCgI2-TzEI8-5FiCszGNgja3ZCZWnIhZ76g24v0jOhka-4GAJOzkDw8igZWeKmVdxg/s320/006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558501240901687506" />Look close, do you see the secret ingredient??...<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJBSO-sQ9KlWjBfpz2jRrzGK5xL_ifmLQYmnUlJ_FpTG5IYS2VE8tYdDw_RHCyQMNUy3fVF1ehfQ_NqiQtK3uahbreGHxjvWYV7sVGLh1SpHa0cPlLUdOyVA1d5S8DuwlSF3vXNvNvJ8Q/s320/008.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558501487688995890" />Do you see it?? Black-eyed Peas?! Yes, that's right...
Sometimes I wonder if eating black-eyed peas on New Year's day is good luck or not. Every year I think maybe I won't eat them, just to see what happens but every year I decide not to take a chance. I mean, why would you want to test the Good Luck Gods? I like peas & eat them on a regular basis so, why not just continue to put them on the menu January 1st every year. So, this year instead of second guessing whether or not to eat them, I decided to use them in a different way. My hubby wanted me to make pizza so I just added mine to my pie. Boy! That was a good decision. It was "de-lish" as my grandmother used to say!!cherokeefoxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10735034978424921275noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5882274955517985068.post-84095932124894164442010-09-26T15:58:00.003-05:002010-09-26T16:08:03.338-05:00BEAUTIFUL AUTUMNWelcome beautiful Autumn!!
