FUZZY BEANS

My garden is up and running and has been producing for several weeks. This past weekend, I picked my first green beans. They had a fine fuzzy texture on the outside and remained after cooking. I find that a little strange so next year I will choose a differnt variety. Don't get me wrong...we ate the tar out of them and still have left-overs. I just prefer my beans to have a smoother texture on the outside. They look great, are growing fast and have hardly any bugs on them. My meditative process for this will be to tell myself the fuzz is what keeps the bugs away and therefore the reason why I have so many to pick. I am blessed to have food straight from the garden to the table. It has been hard work but very fullfilling.
