When Gray Is Beautiful

Gray seems to be a somber color but if you look with an open heart you can also see great beauty and peace. When these clouds rolled in, I felt such an overwhelming sense of peace & solitude. I could feel myself relaxing & my mind clearing. Such great beauty, changing by the minute.

    Lovely, lovely photo. We live on a beautiful Bay and some days everything from sky to land is pure gray, shades of gray, and it is stunning to behold! xxxooo

    I LOVE cloudy days... it's like watching a painting in motion. I often take photos of the sky... those are great shots.

    Yes, gray is indeed a beautiful color that can be very serene and peaceful, very gracious, or sometimes foreboding or threatening as in dark storm clouds. I love it in the winter when everything is shades of white and gray...it is so restful. Loved your photos...they are gorgeous!
